Going to Grandma's

I got to visit Dad at the golf course!

A trip to Fulton to visit Grandma and Grandpa Burt. I also got to meet my Granny! She couldn't wait to get her hands on me. I had a great time but found it hard to sleep in a different place. Once I got home to my bed, I slept great! It's hard being small!

1 MONTH OLD

I'M 1 MONTH OLD! PEOPLE STILL THINK I'M TINY BUT I AM GROWING! I'M OVER 8 LBS NOW. MY HIP IS GETTING BETTER AND I ONLY HAVE 3 MORE WEEKS IN THIS BRACE! YEAH!

Mom and McGee take me on a walk 2 times a day! Mostly because McGee needs his exercise, but I love being outside too.

We love the curtains that Grandma Ruth made for us! They work perfect!

Dad and Grandpa did a great job putting together the changing table/bookshelf.

Grandma and Grandpa's visit

Grandma and Grandpa Burt come to visit Keileen! She is 3 weeks old.

Tim found a fun shirt on sale for Grandpa. The trick was Keileen to participate. She was not thrilled with finger painting! Grandpa liked his shirt though and said "It'll probably be my lucky fishing shirt! Let's hope so!

Keileen is 3 weeks old

Keileen and I go visit Lori and Chandler Blake. They are 10 days apart and look how much bigger Chandler is than Keileen!

Dad and Keileen hang out in front of the computer while Mom gets bath stuff ready. Just chillin in my Bobby! And check out her toes! Got to do something to liven up that brace! Sleeping so well at 3 weeks!

Keileen is 1 week old!

Because Keileen was breech, she has a dislocated left hip. She has to wear this brace for 6-8 weeks. It looks funny, but she doesn't seem to mind. Of course she really doesn't know any different. Aunt Emily and Cousin Aubrey come to visit Keileen. Uncle Brian gets his first peek at Keileen. Not so sure how to hold her, but he managed just fine! Great Grandma Letha comes to Kansas City to garage sale and finally gets to hold her 7th great-grandchild!

July 21st, 2007-Birth Day

After a surprise visit to the hospital, the doctor on call saying, "You're 39 weeks, let's just induce you tomorrow," and finding out she was breech, Keileen arrived by C-section and let us know who's boss! What an experience!

Finally I get to take a look at my daughter! Hard to believe she is really mine. After growing for 9 (well really 10 months), I can't believe she is really here. All I can think is that I hope I can be a Mom just like mine!
